The color is pale yellow with golden reflections. The nose has a fresh floral scent with a slight hint of crust bread. In mouth is dry, balanced and harmonious flavor.

Vinification: Soft pressing of the grapes and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-18° C. The product remains on the lees for at least 36/48 months before being disgorged.

Etna Red DOP Vintage 2014

CONTRADA CRASA' Cru red is produced exclusively from indigenous grapes grown on Contrada Crasà vineyard, located at 700 mt above sea level. The winery and vineyards are located on the northeast side of Mt.Etna.

The color is ruby red, at the nose has scent of plum, wild berries, cherry with notes of spice and new leather. A full balsamic notes and good minerality. Strong but elegant and persistence.

Aging: 18 months in stainless steel tanks 10 12 months in French oak

Refining: 6 months in the bottle

Brilliant ruby red color, the nose has a pleasant scent of wild berries and a hint of dried fruit. The taste is persistent and full bodied, with nice balsamic notes that blends in with a bouquet of jammy berries and spices. The tannins are powerful but elegant, typical of aged wines. Excellent persistence and distinct softness.

Aging: 18 months in oak barrique and tonneau, 2 years stainless steel tanks
